Schroders has named Cazenove Capital chief executive Mary-Anne Daly (pictured) as the group’s global head of wealth management.

She will take ultimate responsibility for Schroders’ wealth management hubs in the Channel Islands, Switzerland, and Singapore.

Daly joined the group in 2001 after a six-year stint at Baring Asset Management.

Meanwhile, Cazenove Capital and Benchmark Capital chair Peter Hall has been appointed chair of Schroders Wealth Management.

The pair will retain their current respective roles.

Peter Harrison, Schroders group chief executive officer, said: “One of the most important things we can do to future-proof the growth of Schroders is to recognise the industry’s best talent, most diverse thinkers and to provide our people with career development opportunities.

“The success of our wealth management business over the last few years suggests the strategy is right and that we are executing well on it. I look forward to continuing to work with Peter Hall and Mary-Anne Daly in their new roles.”
