Charlie Parker exits Sanlam UK

Head of portfolio management jumps ship after nineteen months

Charlie Parker has left his role as head of portfolio management at Sanlam UK after just over a year to become managing director at Albemarle Street Partners (ASP).

ASP announced in a press release today Parker would be joining as MD effective from 1st June 2019.

In October 2017, Parker joined Sanlam UK from Neptune Investment Management, where he held the role as director for the last three years. Prior to this, he spent eight years as a financial journalist.

At Sanlam UK, he worked closely with the chief executive officer of Sanlam Wealth, John White, to help grow the division’s business and oversee the development of its proposition.

The firm said it has over £2bn assets under management across the UK and recently merged with Atlantic House Fund Management (AHFM) to support the next stage of its growth.
