RBC Wealth Management has made a senior hire to its London-based relationship management team.

Fiona Lucas has joined the firm in the newly-created role of managing director, relationship management.

Lucas has more than 20 years’ experience in private banking and wealth management. She previously worked at Credit Suisse as a private banking director and prior to that, spent time at Barclays Wealth and Lloyds TSB in London and Hong Kong.

In the new role, Lucas will be responsible for client teams’ performance and for expanding relationships with advisers.

She will report to Ross Jennings, head of sales and relationship management at RBC Wealth Management – International.

Jennings said: “We are delighted to welcome Fiona to our sales & relationship management team. Her knowledge and experience will further enhance our client service capabilities, and strengthen our position as a leading wealth manager in the UK and Channel Islands.
