Leeds-based wealth manager Myddleton Croft has promoted Robert Feather to senior investment manager.

After joining the firm as a trainee investment manager in 2013, Feather has helped manage around 400 client portfolios and gained both the Level 4 CFA Investment Management Certificate and the CISI Level 7 Diploma.

David Cowell, founder and chairman of Myddleton Croft, said he was proud to nurture new talent in the wealth investment industry.

“Rob has impressed us all with his hard work and dedication, handling a demanding job whilst also studying for the profession’s highest qualification,” he added.

Feather, 26, also recently achieved the prestigious CISI Chartered Wealth Manager qualification.

Prior to joining the firm, Feather graduated from Northumbria University with a degree in economics and geography and spent 18 months working as a project manager.

He said: “I have learnt so much over the last four years, working with such an experienced team. 

“I’m really looking forward to extending my role and using my expertise to help ensure the continued success of our discretionary portfolios and the outstanding service we provide to clients.”

Myddleton Croft marked 50 years in business this year and its nine-strong team serve private clients, charities, pension funds and trusts.
