The deal will enable IC Direct customers to access a wide range of funds, ISAs and product wrappers, on a non-advised basis.
The IC Direct platform has been developed by Informed Choice. It is aimed at self-directed investors and will enable them to access a range of Informed Choice research reports and fund information. It will also have a social element, with investors being encouraged to share information.
FundsNetwork administers £40bn in assets, and offers access to over 1400 funds. It also offers portfolio analysis tools, business-to-business reports and back office integration services.
Paul Richards, head of sales at FundsNetwork said: “We see considerable growth opportunities in the non-advised market, as intermediaries look to offer new and innovative solutions or self-directed investors."
