Fresh recruits aid Brown Shipley expansion

Brown Shipley has added to its Edinburgh office in a fresh push to expand its wealth management services.

Former Legal and General sales manager Rhona McColl is set to join as business development manager and Andy Bolden is relocating from the firm’s Nottingham office to Edinburgh to work as a wealth planner.

Bolden has more than 30 years’ experience in the industry and will help bolster Brown Shipley’s wealth management offering in Edinburgh.

He joined Brown Shipley in 2015 following its acquisition of financial-planning firm Hampton Dean.

Paul Embleton (pictured) head of the Edinburgh office, said: “I am delighted to welcome Rhona and Andy to our experienced team in Edinburgh.

“Rhona will play an important role working closely with our network of intermediaries and supporting our pipeline of new business.

“Andy’s appointment is exciting as it broadens our range of expertise and the services we can offer our clients.”

The new additions follow the appointment of Embleton to head the Edinburgh office in April this year.
