Former Rathbones manager joins Close Brothers AM expansion

Former Rathbones’ manager Tim Eliot-Cohen has joined Close Brothers Asset Management to head an expansion of its high net-worth private client division.

Cohen (pictured) has been appointed to Close Brothers ahead of the opening of a new West End office for the firm, adding to its nine existing offices across the country.

He spent the last 16 years at Rathbones serving high net worth private clients and leading a team of private client managers.

Martin Andrew, chief executive at Close Brothers, said: “We are thrilled that Tim is joining CBAM to help lead an exciting new phase in our growth.

“His extensive investment and client experience, as well as his leadership skills and sheer enthusiasm, are terrific attributes to bring to our team as we look to expand our award-winning investment offering.”
