Effectively immediately, the appointments include a double senior addition to the firm’s UK fixed income capability.

Agnes Belaisch arrives at Edmond de Rothschild’s London base as head of sovereign debt, reporting to Benjamin Melman, having previously been at the helm of economic and market analysis at the European Stability Mechanism and head of EM strategy with Threadneedle Asset Management.

Meanwhile, Laurent Le Grin takes up the position of head of convertible bonds, working within the London-based corporate debt capability run by Kris Deblander.

Furthermore, Alina Epifantseva and Thibaut Bailly also arrive to support Le Grin in dual fund manager/analysts berths.

Edmond de Rothschild is also making its product range more accessible for the UK investor pool with the opening of sterling-denominated share classes for the majority of its funds.

As part of Edmond de Rothschild’s wider push into the UK market, the firm has also topped up its sales capability with the hire of Daniel Lee as director of sales distribution.

Having previously been sales director at Allianz Global Investors, Lee will be based in the firm’s London office reporting to Charles Goodman, Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management UK CEO.
