De Fonclare joined Jupiter in 1999 and moved to the European tem the following year. He has been manager of the £586m European Special Situations Fund since May 2001 – it was launched in March 1999 – and will run the European Income Fund under its existing mandate which is essentially to produce high and rising income.

Millar joined Jupiter in June 2002 and started running pan-European funds the following year before taking on the £30m European Income Fund when it was launched in May 2007.

He discussed a number of other opportunities within the company though has decided to leave, with his final day being 15 July.
