BNY Mellon launches Future Legacy multi-asset range

BNY Mellon Investment Management has launched a range of multi-asset funds designed for the intermediary market.

The ‘Future Legacy’ range houses five risk-rated multi-asset funds investing in sustainable firms.

Each will be managed by a newly-formed team, headed by Newton Investment Management’s multi asset CIO Mitesh Sheth. Meanwhile, Joo Hee Lee, Lale Akoner, and Martin Chambers have been named as joint portfolio managers.

The range aims to deliver capital growth with the potential for income over the long term, with a focus on helping UK investors approaching and during retirement.

The range will adhere to Dynamic Planner’s risk target managed risk framework, specifically focusing on risk profiles three to seven.

Sheth, who joined the firm a year ago, said: “Against today’s market backdrop, investors require new solutions to meet their investment goals. Drawing on Newton’s multi-asset expertise and combining this with an investment strategy designed for the market environment, Future Legacy will provide investors with a range of funds which aim to protect and grow their portfolios sustainably over the long term.

“We will only be investing in companies around the world that are in line with Newton’s sustainable framework to ensure we are contributing towards the just energy transition.”
