As area director, he will be reporting to financial planning managing director Steven Midgley.
Prior to joining the company, Spink was the regional director at the London offices for the Royal Bank of Scotland Group. He is the second director to join this year, following Stuart Moment who joined in January from Broadstone.
“The area director team is key to our growth plans across the UK,” Midgley said.
“Following the completion of our acquisition of UK Wealth Management Limited we are seeking to take advantage of opportunities in the personal and workplace pension markets and ensuring our planners are appropriately supported is part of that.”
Earlier this year, Ashcourt Rowan poached Brewin Dophin’s Chris Legge as head of intermediary services to develop partnerships with discretionary financial advisers.
